Any advice on worming treatment for Hutch please (11wks old today) ?
He was last done by the breeder at 8wks when we collected him and with his appetite for anything and everything (including my fingers :-\) im thinking another dose may be due !

    Hi logger.
I would suggest asking your vet for advice on this one as to which product to use. There are different worms more prevalent in some areas than others. Lungworm is not an issue where I live so drontal is okay. In lugworm areas then a different product would be better maybe like Advantix??? I'm no vet - thats a guess.
I would definitely seek advice from the professionals on this.
Puppies eat all sorts of rubbish given half the chance which really puts them at risk.

Our two boys had been treated by the breeder and we asked the vet for advice when we went for their jabs, he gave us Advocate which worked a treat as 24 hours after application Barney passed several dead worms in his poos, we haven't seen any signs since. We have a big garden and get lots of slugs, so I was pleased with him giving us Advocate as it protects against lungworm too.

Puppies need to be wormed up until six months at least, you need to ask your vet what he advises, you can phone the surgery for advice and save money :D
