barney decided to roll this morning - typical as we're going to the care home this afternoon! But it was the worst ever. Clearly the fox had an upset tummy :( :( and he'd managed to flatten several slugs. At least I think that's what the mucusy stuff is stuck in his coat that I can't get out. Any ideas anyone? I've tried soap and of course the tomato sauce that was to neutralise the smell....

Washing up liquid. That gets rid of most things. Apply neat, rub in well, rinse and repeat. ;)

in the end I waited until it dried then brushed it out with a furminator - yeuk! Luckily the sauce did it's trick and he smelt fine for all his lady friends at the care home. No one there is prepared to believe he's ever naughty :D

A fan on Barney's facebook page recommended white vinegar which I had thought of (it seems to work on everything!) but when she mentioned it I tried on the last dries in bits and it worked - so I thought I'd mention it here in case anyone else has to deal with really gross problem.
