hi all, a few days ago i posted about oscar and how he keeps crying when he is left, well i spent some time with him putting him in and out of his create that day, and by the following day he new what he need to do i asked my neighbour to keep a listen out in the morning and at lunch time while i took the kids to school and he no longer cries when i leave the house it took him a day to get used to the idea. i can not believe what an intelligent little boy i have. He had just been to the vets today for his first set of jabs and was very well behaved and loved all the attention ALL the vets and nurses gave him, he is just under 10kg at 9 weeks! they couldn't believe that he was that heavy even tho he is not over weight he is just a really big boy. going to be huge they said. and are looking forward to seeing him at 12 weeks and if i am still going to be able to carry him. i would like to say a HUGE thank you for all your advise and welcomes it such a relaxing thought to know that i have help and advise when it is needed thank you so much Alex and oscar p.s please can some one tell me how to post a pic so i can show you all. xx
Re: wow oscar Well done Oscar. He is definitely going to be a biggun! Albert my pup weighed 8.75 kg at 9 weeks and I thought he was big! He's now 20 weeks and weighs 20kg, but not overweight, so Oscar may grow even bigger. Good luck with the lifting! BTW I struggled (and still do to a degree :-[ :-[) to post pics but eventually managed it with a Flickr account, which most people use. There are numerous threads on posting pics in technical help. Enjoy your lovely chunky puppy Jan
Re: wow oscar That's great! I'm not much help with the pics either. I struggle through but couldn't tell you how sorry. I'm sure someone will be along to help. Well done with the crate. It makes it so much easier when you know you can leave them for a while and they will be fine.
Re: wow oscar Well done Oscar! It's difficult to add pictures as they have to be hosted someone else like a photo sharing site or your website and then you can link to them. I had to look up how to do it. I would love to see a photo of him.
Re: wow oscar Hi Alex! Check out the Technical & Help board! Lots of info there on posting pics. I had a time at first, too. I use Flickr for hosting and it's quite easy. Just upload your photos there and under the share options on the photo copy the BBC code and paste it in your post. Should work! Hope to see Oscar's pic here soon! Lori & Edsel
Re: wow oscar I found the easiest way to post a picture is through photobucket. It gives you a list of links to use in different ways. One of which I img to show the picture without clicking the link.
Re: wow oscar So glad Oscar is more settled when you leave him it's always a worry when you go out, but hopefully now you will be more relaxed about it Check out the technical section for how to post photos
