just had a phone call from pet medics, scan results are back, .....no damage to his shoulders or left elbow, right elbow as still got the bit of bone attached that is causing the limp, luckily the bit of bone is still attached as this some times floats about,.......he is revering him to the surgeon who may ring later today to arrange a date for surgery,......this will be done by key hole surgery , and he should make good recovery,.....no arthritis as shown up , good news again......not saying he wont get arthritis in years to come, so much happier today thank you all for your concern, jasper sends you all big licks

Re: yes yes yes.....good news at last Fantastic Lynne,so happy for you,he's going to be fixed and right as rain in no time.....hats off to you being such a conscientious owner,you KNEW it wasn't right ages ago.I don't know anything surgery but I guess if it is keyhole his recovery from the op shouldn't take too long either.....back to your lovely walks and a normal routine in no time x
Re: yes yes yes.....good news at last oh i am delighted,.......yesterday i had him down as needing a wheel chair, it was a nice surprise phone call as i didn't expect to hear so soon, i will read up about key hole surgery i am sure its not half as bad as conventional surgery .......my boy should soon be back to normal

Re: yes yes yes.....good news at last thank you,...jac,....just been on to the hydrotherapy, 25 pound per session,....he asked me to get my policy out why he was on the phone, i read it out to him, he said i am insured for 10 sessions, so a bit lighter on my pocket,....he said to ask the surgeon when is the best time to start them before op or wait until he as had it done, so a little bit more good news

Re: yes yes yes.....good news at last wow i am amazed how quick, only had scan friday results off medic this afternoon, then surgeon rings, with a slot for tomorrow at 11 45, they have a slot available for surgery on thursday unless they get an emergency so all be over with soon and i can nurse him back to health ......after all the crying yesterday things have turned around so fast
